Conducting Fish Inventories Across the Red Deer River Watershed and Drainages

Healthy fish populations are a key indicator of watershed health. Learn about how West Fraser partnered with the Alberta Conservation Association (ACA) to conduct fish inventories within Willson Creek, James River, Yara Creek and Wildhorse Creek to update native fish inventory data that hadn’t been updated in over 15 years.

This work is supported by West Fraser through fundings from the Forest Resource Improvement Association of Alberta (FRIAA), with technical work led by the Alberta Conservation Association.
