Extending the Knowledge Branch

Forest Extension Program

What is the Forest Extension Program?

The Forest Extension Program seeks to bridge the gap between research and practice by summarizing and sharing the results of FRIP-funded research with professional foresters and other interested parties in Alberta. It does this by sharing knowledge through monthly webinars, illustrated research summaries and more. This program is a FRIAA-funded, West Fraser-led initiative.

A forester measures the diameter of a seedling's trunk using calipers in the field.
